Originally focused on live music and its service to help fans find concerts to attend, Bandsintown smartly pivoted towards livestreaming during the Covid-19 pandemic. That included launching a livestreams subscription service in January 2021, and publishing regular surveys of artists and fans showing what they thought about livestreams and the eventual return of physical concerts.
Now the company is launching something new: a community for those artists as well as for people in the music industry to “talk touring, marketing, live streaming and more, share advice, get feedback, and build connections”.
The community is free, and currently open to anyone who is a registered user of the Bandsintown for Artists tool – i.e. artists and their teams.
