ANote Music launched in July 2020 as the latest platform enabling fans to invest in the music royalties of labels and artists. Now the company has appointed a pair of new advisers: Italian journalist, label owner and film producer Carlo Antonelli, and music manager, entrepreneur and Beyoncé-dad Mathew Knowles.
ANote appointed the pair as it also closed a bridge funding round, ahead of what the company describes as a planned “more substantial funding round” in 2022.
The company has also secured €400k of research funding from the Ministry of the Economy of Luxembourg, which it plans to spend on market research and also on an update to its platform at the end of 2021.
So far, ANote Music has raised more than €1.5m for its business.
