Deezer wants to help users of rival streaming services transfer

We’ve seen a few tools down the years designed to help people transfer their playlists between streaming services if they have decided to switch subscriptions. They’ve usually been made by third-party startups, although Tidal has a page on its website designed to point its users towards two of them: Tune My Music and Soundiiz.

Now Deezer is getting in on the action with a new ‘Transfer Your Favourites’ feature. This is also powered by Tune My Music, which appears to be doing a good job of securing partnerships (or at least endorsements) from DSPs. Deezer is pitching it as a simple three-step process to transfer playlists across from Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and other services.
