NFTs circuit board

There is another flurry of stories about music and NFTs to report on today.

Ditto Music’s blockchain offshoot Opulous has inked a deal with Japanese social giant Line to “cooperate in developing NFT products”. Line already has an NFT marketplace up and running in Japan.

Meanwhile, producer Timbaland is launching his own series of ‘NFT Producer Mix’ NFTs, which will include stems, loops and beats from his upcoming EP. The idea is that buyers of the NFTs will get access to an “online mix board” to play with the music ahead of its release in 2022.

Finally, Interpol (the US band, not the international criminal police organisation) have teamed up with filmmaker David Lynch to create a series of NFTs too, working with a company called HiFi Labs and NFT marketplace SuperRare. ‘Lynch X Interpol’ will blend Lynch’s animations with music from a 2010 Interpol single called ‘Lights’, in a series of ‘one-of-one’ NFTs dropping every two days.
