Social games publisher Zynga has found a fascinating partner for its latest title. Its new music game Disco Loco 3D will be exclusively available on TikTok: the first HTML5 game to appear on the service.
The game will see players “dance to the sounds of funk music through an increasingly challenging catwalk”. The game is soft launching in “select markets” and a trailer is already available, although details of how the game will be presented within TikTok are still scarce.
“We see a tremendous opportunity to reach new audiences across the globe through TikTok’s massive and unparalleled user base,” said Zynga’s president of publishing Bernard Kim.
TikTok adding games is a trend worth watching, and it’s part of a wider trend that has also seen Netflix recently incorporate gaming into its mobile apps, in an effort to boost the time people are spending in these services.
