Roblox is preparing for its next music event: a concert by artist Tai Verdes, due to take place this Saturday (13 November) in a custom-built experience on the games platform.
Roblox enlisted a trusted developer for the concert: Melon, which has previously worked on its music events for Ava Max, Why Don’t We, Zara Larsson and KSI. However, this concert is different: Roblox says that Verdes will be performing four songs as an avatar within the world itself, rather than appearing as a video stream.
He will also be holding a live Q&A with fans, and there will be a range of ‘Tai-dye’ virtual merchandise for fans to buy. It’s a mark of Verdes’ popularity with the Roblox audience that the experience – which has opened up for fans to check out ahead of the concert – has already been visited 1.3m times at the time of writing.
