bpi motd report

In early November, British industry body the BPI and Music Ally held an ‘insight session’ on the intersection of sports and music. Now we’ve co-published a report from the event, outlining the key views and lessons from its 10 quickfire talks, plus an extra case study focusing on talent management.

The topics covered include lessons for music from sports-tech startups; indie label Cherry Red’s experiences of football sponsorship; lessons from how US hip-hop artists have worked with sports brands; insights into music usage by football TV channels like Sky Sports; Dapper Labs talking about its basketball NFTs product NBA Top Shot; an update from licensing startup ClicknClear; and an interview with UMG and FIFA.
