Fender continues to add new features and content to its Fender Play educational service, which people access online to learn to play guitar, bass and/or ukulele.
New this week is a ‘path’ focusing on R&B and Soul music, to sit alongside the existing content around rock, blues, pop, country and folk on the subscription-based service. The new path includes 18 courses using songs from the likes of Alicia Keys, Amerie, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind and Fire, Sam Cooke, H.E.R., Aretha Franklin and Curtis Mayfield.
The news comes just after Fender also added a ‘Feedback Mode’ feature, which offers people a scoring system and feedback on their bum notes as they play.
