Fresh from winning the startup showcase at this year’s NY:LON Connect conference, UK-based firm Aux now wants to shine a light on some other innovative music/tech startups. Artists too, in fact: the company has launched its first Aux Awards, with 11 categories covering musicians, podcasters and music companies.
Music Ally is pleased to be one of the partners for the event, for which voting opened today. The Best New Music Tech category’s nominees include Artime, Audience Republic, AudioMob, Creative Futures, Flymachine, Instruments of Things, Looped, Royal, Sublive, Ocean, Tapes·ai and Un:hurd.
There are also categories for the best music business, and the best live music business, along with various artist categories.
