TVG Hospitality is the live music company founded by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons, which currently runs three venues in London. Is it stopping there? Most certainly not. The company has raised a $50m funding round led by Nat Zilkha and Gibson Brands, with music industry executives Irving Azoff and Justin Kalifowitz, and artists Ryan Tedder and Maggie Rogers among the individual investors.

MBW reported on some of TVG’s plans for the funding, including the opening of its 8,000-capacity Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama in May this year, with plans for more venues in the US and UK.

“I am incredibly grateful for the investments from so many of our industry leaders. It furthers cements our belief that our new thinking is going to be game changing for artists, fans and communities alike,” said Lovett in a statement.
