Serenade was one of the early NFT startups to focus on working with artists and music industry clients.

Now it has secured investment from some individuals in the industry, including Damian Christian (Atlantic Records); Dan Rosen (Warner Music Group); Paul Piticco and Jessica Ducrou (Splendour in the Grass) and Bernard Fanning (Powderfinger).

Oh, and actor/singer/clawtastic supermutant Hugh Jackman for good measure.

Serenade has also appointed former YMU MD and artist manager Iain Watt as chairman of its advisory board.

The news comes shortly after Serenade’s most high-profile drop yet: a collection of NFTs produced for the UK’s Brit Awards.

“There is a clearly an enthusiastic demand for eco-friendly , easy-to understand, artist and fan friendly NFTs and the fact that so many respected music and creative industry professionals have backed us with personal investments is humbling,” said CEO Max Shand (pictured).
