Infinite Album is one of the growing number of startups exploring AI-generated music – in its case, targeting the world of game streamers.
It will launch its beta release at the SXSW conference this month, with Twitch streamers able to use it to generate music that adapts to whatever’s happening in their game while – importantly – helping them avoid copyright issues. The beta will work with games including League of Legends, Fortnite, Dota 2, PUBG, Valorant, Apex Legends and CS:GO.
It’s a busy month for Infinite Album, which has just officially announced industry veteran Karen Allen as its CEO, and talked about some of its future plans. Those include working with artists to create ‘sound packs’ for Infinite Album’s AI to generate music in their style, and the future option for gamers to turn the music streams created by the system – ‘vibes’ in its terminology – into NFTs.
