spotify soundtrap

Spotify is launching a subscription bundle of its premium consumer service with its music creation studio Soundtrap. The ‘Soundtrap x Spotify’ bundle is launching in the US only for now, and will cost $19.99 a month.

It will include a Spotify Premium subscription as well as access to the ‘Music Makers Supreme’ and ‘Soundtrap for Storytellers’ tiers of Soundtrap – the latter being the version for podcasters.

Soundtrap is still somewhat under the radar of the music industry, with Spotify having acquired it in November 2017 to become the equivalent in its ecosystem of Apple’s GarageBand.

Since 2020, a partnership with Splice has brought in loops from the latter’s catalogue too.
