Meta’s CEO announced yesterday that “We’re working on bringing NFTs to Instagram in the near term… over the next several months, the ability to bring some of your NFTs in, hopefully over time be able to mint things within that environment”.

Meanwhile, music streaming startup MonkingMe (which we wrote about in June 2021) has rebranded as OffBeat, and pivoted towards NFTs. “We can leverage the power of NFTs to create a rich music identity that represents them [fans] in the virtual worlds and become the best community for music lovers out there,” is the pitch.
