Hearty congratulations to GRM Daily, the Black British music brand that found its initial audience on YouTube. Its channel has just passed the milestone of five million subscribers on that service, with more than 6bn views of its videos since its launch in 2009.
GRM Daily is celebrating with a week of new content, including a series of performances in its Daily Duppy freestyle show from British rap luminaries including Ghetts and Potter Payper.
The company has been growing steadily in recent years: it says that it has added more than one million new subscribers in each of the last four years.
“I’m grateful to see how far we have come and excited to know where we are going,” said founder Post in a statement.
