We are currently seeking a motivated Label Manager to work as part of a growing team with overall responsibility for managing and administering the label’s musical output and ensuring that all releases are delivered in an organised and timely manner. 

This is a full-time position with a hybrid working from home/office policy. 

The successful candidate will have 4 years experience in a similar role, a passion for electronic music with a keen interest in drum & bass as well as a solid knowledge of the current UK and global digital music marketplace.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the Hospital Records release schedule, ensuring digital and physical products are delivered to deadline. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with artists, key partners and the Hospital Records staff team. 
  • Working alongside our key label departments (digital, promotions, video, A&R, physical manufacturing), to drive successful release campaigns for all Hospital Records artists. 
  • Collaborating with our promo and marketing team to maintain campaign budgets across marketing and digital spend. 
  • Contribute to the Hospital Records A&R team
  • Work with the Digital Manager to maintain relationships with all key DSP partners.
  • Increase the profile of Hospital Records and it’s musical output recordings amongst the wider industry

Job specific skills/technical skills/profile:

  • Strong interest in dance music and drum & bass culture. 
  • Experience in successfully marketing artists on an international scale.  
  • A minimum of four years of experience at a record label, distribution or label services company. 
  • Highly organised with an ability to manage many projects, and execute the delivery and success of all projects to the highest standard.  
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to keep team members motivated and driven.  
  • Able to use their excellent communication skills to strengthen key relationships. 
  • Be analytical – confident reviewing campaign statistics to monitor the success of campaigns.
  • An ability to problem solve, and remain calm under pressure. 
  • Experience with leading digital music services, social media platforms, and digital music best practices
