Peloton has enjoyed success with its ‘Artist Series’ workouts based on popular musicians, but Apple can play that game too. It has just announced its new crop of ‘Artist Spotlight’ workouts for its Apple Fitness+ service.

They focus on ABBA, BTS and Queen, with each artist getting weekly workouts accompanied by playlists of their music across the various categories on Apple Fitness+ – dance, treadmill, strength training etc. As in previous examples, there will be spin-off playlists on Apple Music with a mix of original tracks, collaborations and remixes.

BTS are getting something extra: an ‘Artist Spotlight Dance workout’ that will feature the band’s choreography as well as their music. This is part of a wider week of content from 25 April encouraging people to try out the dancing workouts on Apple Fitness+.

Music Ally’s next Learn Live webinar will help you understand what’s required for artists to thrive in new international markets!
