Spotify and Apple Music have revealed the names of the latest musicians they are supporting in their emerging artist programs.

Spotify has recruited four new artists to its Fresh Finds artist development program, which was launched nearly one year ago. The four are Delaney Bailey, Jhariah, Carter Faith and Alemeda, and they will receive a package of education, marketing support and collaboration opportunities. Spotify says that the eight artists in the first Fresh Finds cohort added 6.5 million new listeners.

As for Apple Music, it has named British musician Jvck James as the latest artist for its Up Next program. He will get the traditional package of interviews, promotion and a slot on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! US TV show. His interview with Apple Music 1 host Dotty is live, as is a film tracing his musical origin story.
