Tencent Music seems increasingly focused on global opportunities for the independent artists uploading music through its Tencent Musician arm.

The latest example is an album called ‘Mosaique’ that was born from TME-brokered collaborations between Chinese and French artists. The musicians worked together online to create the 11 tracks, with the album released on global streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Deezer as well as TME’s three streaming services.

The release comes shortly after the company launched its ‘One-Click For All’ feature on Tencent Musician, helping artists to distribute their tracks to more than 150 other DSPs around the world. TME says that in the last year, it has also paid out more than RMB 200m ($29.6m) to its community of independent musicians.
