Ticketing firm Dice raised $122m of funding last September, and immediately bought electronic-music livestreaming brand Boiler Room with part of that loot. Now it’s announcing its latest geographic expansion, launching in Germany today.
Dice is going live with some partnerships – Goodlive Artists and Z|ART Agency – and already has more than 350 shows on sale in its app there. Dice has already been working with Goodlive to seed the market, putting on gigs with artists including PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Marc Rebillet in Germany.
Hamburg venue Uebel & Gefahrlich is also on board for the launch. “I’m so excited about Germany, it’s the home of some of the best artists in the world but most definitely the best fans,” said CEO Phil Hutcheon. As part of the launch, Dice has opened an office in Berlin.
