The latest flurry of announcements around music and NFTs includes the launch of Venice Music Collective. It’s the work of Q&A’s Suzy Ryoo and Troy Carter, and is described as a “token gated (NFT) membership that will serve as an access pass” to distribution, recording, sync, analytics and other services for independent artists. A Venice NFT platform is also on the way.
Elsewhere, two NFT luminaries, RCRDSHP and Dapper Labs, are collaborating. The deal will see the latter “introduce and onboard its more than 2 million active users” to RCRDSHP’s NFTs, with the pair also releasing a ‘Dapper Starter Pack‘ collection.
What else? FanTiger, the NFT marketplace founded by the former CEO of Indian music streaming service Gaana, has raised $5.5m of funding. It wants to attract 10 million users and 100,000 artists, although it has yet to launch.
Finally, Mint For Ukraine is the latest NFT project raising money to support people in Ukraine, blending local art, literature, poetry and folklore.
