spotify kpark roblox

Spotify Island launched on Roblox in May, as an experience for people to visit, create music and generally lark about in Spotify’s first metaverse experiment. Now it’s getting the first expansion that was promised at launch: ‘K-Park‘.

It’s a zone devoted to K-Pop music and artists: “a whimsical wonderland where you can discover exclusive K-Pop experiences, interactions, and quests” in Spotify’s words. Within K-Park there will be individual islands devoted to artists, starting with Sunmi, with Stray Kids to follow.

Spotify has also built a virtual merch shop, with some items unlocked for free if players complete mini-quests, and others to be sold, with the net revenues going to the artists. Like the main island, K-Park also has a music creation angle, using Spotify’s Soundtrap subsidiary.

Music Ally’s next Learn Live webinar will help you understand what’s required for artists to thrive in new international markets!
