Linktree has launched its latest feature for people (including musicians) using its smart-links service.
It’s called Linktree Marketplace, and is a collection of the various services and apps that those creators can link to. More than 30 at the current count, including Spotify, SoundCloud and Audiomack on the music streaming side; Shopify and Spring for ecommerce; and the likes of TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Bandsintown, OpenSea and Cameo too.
The launch follows Linktree’s recent $110m funding round, which valued the company at $1.3bn. Linktree also recently published a ‘Creator Report’ putting some numbers on the creator economy, suggesting that there are 200 million people trying to make money from their ‘influence, creativity, or skills’ online – although 139 million of them have fewer than 10,000 followers.
