Spotify has its Noteable website with resources for songwriters, and now YouTube is following suit with a new ‘YouTube for Songwriters & Producers‘ hub.
It’s a collection of educational resources designed to help songwriters and producers make the most of “the promotional power of your YouTube channel”.
It’s very much a B2B focus, with resources around using YouTube “as a promotional tool to pitch and secure cuts, sessions, sync placements, and other creative opportunities” while also attracting co-writers and artist clients, and reaching fans of their work.
The hub also offers some familiar YouTube education on how to use playlists, monetise a channel and create sections on a profile page.
