Generative music NFTs, where each of a collection of NFTs has a unique piece of music generated from a set of core sounds or stems, are interesting. But not that easy to actually create if you’re lacking programming skills (or a friendly programmer to help).
Now startup Async Art, which runs a marketplace for generative music NFTs, is trying to help. It has launched ‘Music Blueprints‘, which it promises is a “no code” tool to help artists create these items.
So, it’s a system for uploading stems with different melodies, lyrics, drum tracks etc, then assigning “rarity traits” to the different variations. They can then generate a collection of NFTs from this, including allowing fans to create their own music with the audio stems.
Async is making the feature available to anyone who’s registered as a musician on its platform, via an approvals system.
