It’s five years since Spotify launched its first physical music concerts for its flagship hip-hop playlist ‘RapCaviar’. Now it’s getting another high-profile spin-off: a TV docuseries on video-streaming service Hulu.

‘RapCaviar Presents’ will debut later this year, promising to explore “today’s most provocative issues through stories of the hip hop visionaries currently ruling the charts and influencing our culture”.

Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Doja Cat, Roddy Ricch, Saweetie and Tyler, the Creator are the first names confirmed for the show, which is being produced by Spotify and Sony Pictures Television subsidiary The Intellectual Property Corporation.

The news comes with ‘RapCaviar’ currently on nearly 14.6 million followers on Spotify: the third biggest playlist on the platform behind only ‘Today’s Top Hits’ (31.4m) and ‘Top 50 – Global’ (16.9m).
