On the list of ‘new features that console gamers have been waiting impatiently for’ we’re not sure ‘singing controller’ ranks that highly. But a singing controller is exactly what Microsoft has just launched, as a partnership with Interscope Records.
The Xbox controller is a promotion for the new single from Benny Blanco, BTS stars Jin, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, and Snoop Dogg. Players will be able to press a button to hear the ‘Bad Decisions’ track, and there’s a tie-in to the Forza Horizon 5 game too, which will be featuring the track plus drive a car decorated in the artwork.
Will anyone really buy this though? Actually, they don’t have to: the controller is being released as a contest, winnable by retweeting its announcement on Twitter.
