Startup Xposure Music is the latest service hoping to help emerging musicians get feedback on their work from music-biz professionals. The company was founded in 2021, then launched an invitation-only version of its service this July. Now that’s opening up to all artists.

It works by getting musicians to sign up and submit their music (for free) to its roster of experts from labels, management firms, marketing agencies and social media companies. Although submission is free, there are paid options: video calls with some of those pros for example, or getting guaranteed feedback. The professionals can set their rates for written, audio and video feedback, but artists aren’t charged until they’ve received it.

“In streamlining the feedback and discovery experience for the artist, we are also making the interaction easier for executives, with the help of integrations with Chartmetric and Spotify,” said co-founder Gregory Walfish.
