Spotify is rebranding its ‘Music of Ukraine’ playlist as part of a new drive for donations to the country’s official fundraising platform.

The playlist is now called ‘United24: Music For Ukraine’, complete with a video message from the country’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy ahead of next week’s Independence Day event in Ukraine.

Spotify is also using its existing ‘fan support’ feature with the playlist, adding a donation link at the top that takes listeners to the United24 site launched by Zelenskyy to raise funds to support the country’s defence against Russia’s invasion.

The rebranded playlist will continue to feature Ukrainian artists as well as global acts (Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, Pink Floyd, Madonna etc) who’ve expressed their support.
