amazon music one take

Amazon Music is launching its latest TV-style show on Twitch, and it brings together the worlds of music and gaming. The show is called ‘One Take featuring Fortnite’ and will air in three parts over the coming week on Amazon Music UK’s Twitch channel.

Highlights will also be published on YouTube, and there’ll be a companion playlist on Amazon Music for good measure. YouTuber and musician Yung Filly will host the show, with artists including Lady Leshurr, A1 X J1 and Deno set to play with Fortnite pros and gaming influencers Archie King, Wolfiez, Gee Nelly and Sunpi.

So, it’s an esports format – a duos competition with an ultimate champion – with music included. The latter aspect goes beyond the players though: some new Fortnite maps have been created for the competition, with “music-themed escape rooms and musical challenges” based around hip-hop, grime and drill music. Those maps will then be made available for regular Fortnite players to use over the course of the month.
