Just a day after announcing a new series of weekly livestreamed concerts, Amazon Music has announced another online set-piece.

This Saturday, it will broadcast Kendrick Lamar’s sold-out concert from Paris’s Accor Arena. As with the ‘Amazon Music Live’ series announced yesterday, Lamar’s gig will be watchable through Amazon’s Prime Video service for free, and the concert will also be available on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel, and within its app. After the concert finishes, it will be available to watch on-demand on Prime Video too.

It’s another sign of Amazon’s desire to sign up this kind of event, reflected in a quote from the head of talent synergy and specials at Amazon Studios (known more for original TV shows and films) Alaina Bartels. “We continue to be the home for talent and creating special opportunities for our global customers to experience their awe-inspiring creativity…”
