Ticketmaster’s difficult end to 2022 continues, and the recent on-sales for Taylor Swift’s upcoming North American tour are still at the centre of it. Now Ticketmaster is facing a lawsuit filed on behalf of a group of Swift fans accusing the company of “fraud, price-fixing, and antitrust violations”.

The lawsuit (which you can read in full here) names L.A. County as a defendant alongside Ticketmaster and Live Nation, and includes various accusations about how bots and scalpers may have been able to get tickets ahead of fans.

Ticketmaster has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit, although last month it published an apology to Swift and fans “especially those who had a terrible experience trying to purchase tickets”.

The company is also expected to face a hearing in the US Senate in the very near future with questions over the specific Swift on-sales, but also its wider business.
