British management body the MMF has announced the latest cohort for its Accelerator Programme for Music Managers. It’s the fifth year for the scheme, which has so far worked with more than 100 independent music managers across the UK.
24 managers will be taking part this year, and a number of them have already experienced some success with independent artists including Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Låpsley and Mutya Buena.
As in previous years, YouTube Music is one of the accelerator’s supporters, alongside Arts Council England, Creative Scotland and the Scottish Music Industry Association.
“The support and funding provided by Accelerator can be life changing and managers who’ve participated on the programme have gone on to enjoy incredible successes,” said MMF boss Annabella Coldrick.
