Live Nation has launched a new travel and music experience company, Vibee, which it says will create “memorable and immersive multi-day trips for music lovers in desirable destinations by partnering with leading festivals, live events, and the world’s biggest artists.”
Initial events which will have experiential offerings include Lollapalooza, Hotel EDC and ACL Festival, which Vibee says will “amplify fan-to-artist connections through curated experiences.”
Packages on offer seem to be catering to people who want a one-click music experience. The web page for the Lollapalooza package in Chicago says that it includes “4-day festival wristbands, four (4) nights’ accommodations at one of our premier hotel partner properties, all within walking distance from Grant Park, complimentary festival cocktail, Lollapalooza merch, and a dedicated on-site Vibee Concierge.”
The cheapest “GA” package costs $2,404.07 for one person, but the per-head price reduces when you buy group tickets (buying a two-person GA package costs “From $1,523.76”.) A number of packages were sold out then we checked, and it will be interesting to see what demand is like.
Pollen, which worked with promoters and music festivals to create ‘travel experiences’ around live music events, entered administration in August last year, just months after announcing a Series C funding round of $150m.
