THIS WEEK: VR, AR, AI, in-game gigs… big things happen to careers when artists embrace cutting edge technology. But which is right for you? We’re talking to Andrew Melchior, CTO of Massive Attack, who has a long history of bringing emerging technology and music together. At EMI, he helped David Bowie set up the BowieNet ISP, and later helped produce Björk’s career retrospective Bjork Digital. With Massive Attack, he produced an AR app that acted as their EP release.
Andrew will join regular panelists Henriette Heimdal, Market Development UK & EU at CD Baby, and Patrick Ross, Music Ally’s SVP of Digital Strategy. It’s hosted by Music Ally writer Joe Sparrow.
