New Music Ally Learning & Development Programme
Music Ally wants to help the global industry develop the skills and expertise to Market Music Better. We understand that today’s music business is open-ended, multifaceted and often truly global. As such it’s essential that everyone at every level is not only able to stay ahead of the rapid changes in their field of view, but that they can continually improve engagement and revenue from a constantly evolving audience.
After running our highly rated series of ‘Connections’ and ‘Advanced’ webinars for several years, we have now launched a brand new series of online courses offering a new range of content mapped across different levels and skills in the industry. We have been hard at work developing this new offering to provide the most bespoke way for the industry to upskill across all timezones and budgets, with higher production values and our most extensive range of modules yet, not to mention the option to become ‘Music Ally certified’ with our new certification levels too.
This new programme is driven not only by our deep knowledge and experience as a music business guide and leading training provider for the industry, but also through our own practice: Music Ally works with artists, labels, management and more to help build strategy and implement campaigns. Our new video course content is on-demand, meaning you can buy into the programme and at any time. The curriculum is made up of 25 individual classes (we call modules) from which you can pick à la carte to form your own bespoke course structure in sets of 5 modules – you can pick absolutely any 5/10/15/20 or do all 25 of our modules from the options below. We have also categorised classes into tracks – if it’s focused on ‘Campaigns’ or ‘Trends’ etc for example – to help you know at a glance what sort of module it is. This allows you to tailor the learning to your needs, or go with the popular option and do the whole programme to become a marketing genius…
The modules are in video format, on average 45 minutes long so you can slot learning nicely into your schedule or watch the class at your own leisure as many times as you like. You will also be provided with an email to which you can submit questions and access is for 3 months. This new programme is designed with flexibility at the core to make sure our clients globally can do the training when it suits them.

We recognise that in an ever-competitive industry, qualifications count. With this in mind, we have created the option to become ‘Music Ally Certified’ for our new courses. You do not need to become certified to learn via our courses, but certification indicates that Music Ally confirms the viewer attended the module content for at least 4 / 5 (80%) of the modules to a degree that reflects a base understanding of the module’s content, including discussed tools, strategies and priority learnings as will be verified with a short test based on the modules content (to be completed when the client asks for it).
The certification levels are as follows:
Level 1 Certified : completed 5 modules
Level 2 Certified : completed 10 modules
Level 3 Certified : completed 15 modules
Level 4 Certified : completed 20 modules
Level 5 Certified : completed all 25 modules
