Apple’s iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C launch: What you need to know

Apple unveiled two new iPhone models tonight at a press event in Cupertino: the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. They’ll go on sale on 20 September in nine countries, with the iOS 7 software rolling out to existing iPhone and iPad users two days before.

The business has become so large that this year we’re replacing the iPhone 5 with not one, but two new designs,” said CEO Tim Cook at the event. “This allows us to serve even more customers.”
