Gibson settles patent infringement case with Rock Band
Gibson has settled its patent infringement lawsuit against Viacom, Harmonix and EA, although the terms are undisclosed. The guitar maker filed the suit in 2008, claiming that the Rock Band games infringed on its patent for ‘a way of using a musical instrument to take part in a simulated concert’.
