Atlantic gives more details on Ed Sheeran PeerIndex campaign
Yesterday, we wrote about Atlantic’s partnership with PeerIndex in a campaign to reward Ed Sheeran’s superfans with tickets to an exclusive gig. We also wondered whether this would alienate fans whose PeerIndex ranking was too low to bag tickets. Atlantic’s Jack Melhuish got in touch with some more details, saying that avoiding this was a priority for the label.
Atlantic uses PeerIndex to find Ed Sheeran’s superfans
Atlantic Records has launched an interesting campaign with PeerIndex, the company that ranks social media users based on their authority around specific topics. The campaign is based around Ed Sheeran, whose new album is released on 12 September in the UK. Fans are being offered the chance to attend a studio gig where Sheeran will play the album in full, but only those with a good enough PeerIndex rating can apply for tickets.
