Audience Republic teams up with Event Genius and Festicket
Audience Republic is the startup that has just opened up its pre-registration platform for promoters, festivals and artists. Meanwhile, Event Genius is the British ticketing company that was acquired in 2019 by festival ticketing and travel firm Festicket.
Now they’re all teaming up. Event Genius will be using Audience Republic’s technology to handle presale registrations for events on its service, including for promoters and white-label ticketing partnerships.
The tech will also be deployed on the Festicket and Ticket Arena websites. It’s part of Audience Republic’s expansion in the UK, Europe and North America, having launched in Australia and New Zealand in 2016.

Festicket launches Spotify-powered ‘Festival Finder’ feature
British festival-ticketing firm Festicket has added a new feature that uses Spotify to recommend events to its users. The ‘Festival Finder’ feature gets people to log in using their Spotify accounts, then uses the data on their listening habits to suggest 10 upcoming festivals that might match their tastes.
“We now offer over 1,000 festivals on the platform, and we know first-hand how overwhelming it can be when trying to pick out the one to go to,” said CEO Zack Sabban.
“Our Festival Finder solves that problem by presenting a tailored list of festivals that best match your listening habits, including some under the radar gems that could soon become your new favourite festival destination.”
