MFlow wants its MTV
MFlow is a new social music store that has been compared by some to a music-centric equivalent of Twitter, where users “flow” music recommendations to one another. Yesterday it teamed up with MTV Networks UK & Ireland to create “pro profiles” for five key channel brands – MTV Hits, MTV Base, MTV Dance, MTV Rocks, MTV Classic.
Mflow launches officially in the UK
Social music discovery store Mflow has officially opened its doors in the UK, following a beta test that’s so far encompassed more than 10,000 people. You don’t now need an invite to join, which should see the company grow its user base beyond those initial testers.

Mflow to promote Island artist Lauren Pritchard
UK-based music recommendation service Mflow hasn’t officially launched yet, but it’s already signed a marketing deal with Island Records. The latter’s new artist Lauren Pritchard will have her debut EP available on Mflow for free ahead of its release on 26 April, with the marketing around the EP and her upcoming tour pointing fans to the Mflow site.
Social music service Mflow inks more deals ahead of launch
UK-based digital music service Mflow is due to launch in April, and has announced a bunch of media deals with music magazines, including Q, Mojo, Kerrang, NME and Clash. The mags will provide editorial coverage in their pages and websites, as well as advertising and reader promotions.
