Tapulous is back, with a game called Tap Tap Revenge Tour. Disney’s Bart Decrem tells Inside Mobile Apps that “We got rid of a lot of crap and clutter” with the game’s interface and features.
Nickelback have got their own Tap Tap Revenge game for iPhone, becoming the latest artist to get the Tapulous treatment. Nickelback Revenge costs $4.99 and includes 11 hits, including Rockstar and How You Remind Me.

With 25 million downloads (and counting), Tapulous’ series of Tap Tap Revenge iPhone games has taken the App Store by storm. Now the company has released a new game, Riddim Ribbon, developed with the Black Eyed Peas.
Tapulous is well known for its Tap Tap Revenge games on iPhone, which have racked up millions of downloads, and are now selling tracks in-game.
Tapulous made its iPhone music game Tap Tap Revenge free just before Christmas, with the aim of making money from ads and in-app song purchases. In the first 24 hours after going free, the game was downloaded 300,000 times. A week later, and it had racked up two million new downloads.

iPhone developer Tapulous has seen its Tap Tap Revenge games downloaded more than 15 million times, and while it has a healthy business in premium spin-offs, the majority of those downloads are still free.
